Projects described here: ICONIQ (NDA restricted) and Curiosity Lab.

2018-2020

My role at Tencue was leading and directing uniquely challenging projects for hi-tech and finance clients. All were live, event based and involved ground-up creative through full delivery. Clients included: ICONIQ, Facebook, Twitter, Salesforce, Cisco, and others.

My largest challenge was shepherding a diverse creative team on projects developed on the fly, in real time. No blueprints, no defined budget, no initial structure, only a set of business goals, a sensibility of the client's desired look and feel. Through initial concept development, strategy building, creative architecture, content shaping and infinite iterations, creative and spatial planning, and many technical meetings, the shape of the projects would evolve. We described it as “...building the house as you go”.

The Curiosity Lab was an initial proposal and business plan to develop a lab focussing on creative process within the agency. This would develop - through research and creative exploration, on-going and relevant input into future creative-project ideas. Based on work I had previously done for the Innovation Program in London in 2015, this extended the lab premise to exploring future areas of creative interest.
