I’m an Executive Producer with 15+ years of creative and cultural experience working in the USA, UK, and internationally.
I work with high-level cross-functional teams to develop dynamic 0-1 projects from the ground up. I’m always looking to push boundaries, challenge norms, and build new approaches with teams to deliver incredible creative work.
My focus is on immersive work that explores and offers new ways of engaging with the world and continues to evolve our creative language. I focus on projects and products that test or showcase nascent and next-gen technologies with the potential to drive new modes of interaction, and in turn new knowledge. This interest has run through all of my creative and academic work, from curating early New Media works through to the Generative AI projects I work on today.
Storytelling is always an anchor point for my projects, whether it is producing creative projects that tell a story through their content and allow new stories to unfold as audiences/users engage with them - such as spatial/immersive, or new forms of visual storytelling being developed through the use of generative AI technologies, or conceptual works that draw from culture to reflect new narratives and ways of seeing the world.
For the past 7 years, I have worked as a creative and immersive producer for companies such as Google, Apple, and Mozilla, and delivered projects with creative agencies for Salesforce, LinkedIn, Cisco, Meta, and X (Twitter), gaining a deep understanding of leading early-stage work and supporting teams showcasing new products coming to market. I’ve also worked on approaches to enhance existing products through showcases, immersive, and experiential campaigns, and other activations.
Prior to this, I was a digital art curator and academic, focussing on art, interactivity, and experience. I curated for international biennials, festivals, and exhibitions, programmed conferences and symposia, and wrote about and gave many papers on my work. My research interest was on early interactive digital work and how this was curated and collected, with my curatorial practice focused on building new platforms, approaches, and methods of curating and showing this type of work to drive forward change and raise-up artists and creatives using (and mis-using) technology in their work. This background has given me a solid understanding of the history and development of computational technologies and how they became a global industry, and an ongoing excitement about their development and potential for catalyzing new creative languages.
You can find my short resume on Linkedin here, and a detailed bio below for more information on my previous experience across creative innovation and cultural strategy, academia (teaching and external examiner positions), independent curatorial work for galleries and festivals, my Ph.D. research, and a selected list of writing, publications, awards, and honors.
